Background

Tom Coyle has a track record of driving growth for both start-up and mature businesses. His career focus has been to deliver wireless technology solutions for customers in the supply chain, retail apparel, transportation, aerospace and governmental sectors.

Mr. Coyle is a results oriented executive holding leadership positions in business development, strategy, marketing, operations and sales. He is intimately familiar with a wide diversity of wireless solutions including passive RFID (125-134kHz, 13.56MHz, UHF), active RFID (data rich tags, lock tags, sensor tags, RTLS) and GPS tracking (subscription web-based services).

Expertise 
  • Built and managed an elite RFID sales and marketing team at Matrics which was acquired by Symbol (now Motorola) for $230M in 2004.
  • Established a comprehensive visibility program at Savi Technology (now Lockheed Martin) which revolutionized how RFID was used to solve customer problems.
  • Won an $111M DoD RFID contract and the $100M DARPA Advanced Logistics Program at Texas Instruments.
  • Developed and executed multi-faceted channel and partner strategies.
  • Ten years consulting and integration experience in the commercial and government sectors focused on data collection related strategies in concert with real world implementations.
  • Speaker at more than fifty wireless related events since 1999.
  • Developed three world class demonstration centers showcasing wireless solutions.
  • Ensured the flight worthiness of 81 helicopters as a test pilot and maintenance manager.
